“Give Us An Understanding Heart”~ Prayer and Blessing For My Beloved

I pray for leaders like Solomon who ask God for an understanding heart to govern the people. I pray as well for voters to ask for wisdom in electing leaders. I pray for clarity and perception for voters to see politicians’ hearts; their true motives, versus hearing idle words or slogans that tickle their ears and give them false promises of a better life, often at the expense of someone else’s misery.

“Give therefore unto thy servant an understanding heart… that I may discern between good and bad.” (1 Kings 3:9)
