“He Restoreth My Soul”~ Prayer and Blessing for My Beloved

I’ve heard it said that Psalm 23 is the greatest Psalm. It tells me from the cradle to the grave, and beyond, God is with me. Before I was born he had plans for my life- for good and not evil. Even though he knew I would experience some dark valleys, he tells me to fear not, “I am with you.” I give thanks that he has made me the head and not the tail. In the 1500s, Michelango captured the promise of his presence in The Creation of Man– the spiritual touch that happens when we look up to him. “He restoreth my soul” (Psalm 23:3)
