“Keep Hope Alive” Prayer and Blessing for My Beloved

I will remember Rev. Jesse Jackson as a man that believed in hope that against all odds that the arc of the moral universe is long, but bends towards justice as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. quoted and popularized during the civil rights movement. It’s interesting that though it was popularized by Dr. King, it was coined by the abolitionist minister Theodore Parker in 1853.

Morality can’t be defined by age, race, gender, nationality, or time. Morality is defined by justice and as such it can never be extinguished. The psalmist tells us that, “One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy power.” We keep hope alive as an anchor from generation to generation by honoring God’s justice and power.

“Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, but sure and steadfast, and it entered into that which is within the veil (of the heavenly temple, that most Holy Place in which the very presence of God dwells).” (Hebrews 6:19)

Enjoy your day, use it wisely and know that the best is yet to come! ❤️ always and forever.
